Help Pull Out All The Stops! A $500 donation will provide the donor an actual stop tablet and its associated leather pneumatics removed from the Kentucky Wurlitzer console with a dedication plaque recognizing the donor’s name (or name the donor wishes to honor) mounted on an attractive wood base.

Various levels of donation opportunities include the purchase of the console, our most prestigious donation opportunity; the purchase of a full set of pipes, or rank; the purchase of individual percussion items or a general donation of any desired amount. A plaque will be attached to each rank wind chest or percussion component with the donors name (or designated name) for each item purchased.

 A donation of any amount is welcome. Your tax deductible donation is essential to help this instrument raise its wondrous voice again in its original Kentucky Theater home on Main Street.

The 3/16 Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ contains over 1146 pipes varying in size from under 2 inches to over 20 feet in length. These pipes are fabricated from metal, polished brass and wood. Each rank or sets of pipes has a unique voice which gives the theatre pipe organ its distinctive sound and character.

Hundreds of donors have made donations to support the restoration of the theatre organ’s many pipes. Many donors have requested a donation opportunity that would include memorabilia from the actual organ. In response to this request, donors may now purchase an authentic piece of the Kentucky Theater’s Wurlitzer pipe organ. During the console renovation, pneumatic stop tablets along with associated pneumatic actions will be removed and replaced with electric action units. There is a limited number of stop tablets available for this offer.

 For a tax-deductible donation of $500 you will receive an original stop tablet with associated leather pneumatics and dedication plaque mounted on an attractive wood base.

The Wurlitzer pipe organ contains sixteen (16) ranks (sets similar sounding pipes) with a variety of orchestral voices. Each rank purchased will provide funds to restore the many pneumatic valves and actions required to allow the pipes to speak. A plaque will be attached to each rank wind chest with the donors name (or designated name) for each rank purchased.

The Toy Counter and Percussions of the Wurlitzer pipe organ recreates a variety of special effects needed for accompaniment of silent films. Percussions recreate a variety of actual instruments for the organist’s musical needs. Each special sound effect, or Trap, and Percussion item purchased will provide funds to restore the many pneumatic valves and actions required to allow the item or percussion to act. A plaque will be attached to each trap wind chest or percussion component with the donors name (or designated name) for each item purchased.

The Console is our most prestigious donation opportunity. The console will be completely refurbished, refinished and a new solid state computer controlled combination action will be installed

A dedication plaque will be placed on the console with the donors name (or designated name) proudly displayed.
